Because most of my portfolio features medium and large-scale work, I think a lot of people assume I don’t want to do smaller pieces. But the truth is, to me, a small tattoo deserves the exact same care and respect as a major, multi-session project. When a canvas is only a few inches wide, every single line counts, and there’s no room for shortcuts. After 27 years of working to refine my craft, I still approach the steady hand needed for clean script, fine lines, or tight black-and-grey with the same quiet focus as day one. Every piece of ink you choose to put on your body is important to you, which means it’s important to me. I’m opening up a few specific days in my schedule dedicated entirely to single-session, small-scale work.
